Samsung Galaxy A9 got launched in India
The newly launched Samsung Galaxy A9 sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Galaxy A9 (2018) houses a 3,800mAh and is the world’s first smartphone to come with four rear cameras. Its quadruple camera setup comprises of a 24MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 24MP front facing snapper that comes with an f/2.0 aperture. The starting price of the smartphone in India is Rs 36,990.
Popular game PUBG Mobile’s season 4 got released this week
The newest season of popular smartphone game PUBG Mobile has been released this week. There are a number of changes that the new season has got and the most important among them is that the scores of all the players start from the scratch. The season 4 has also added a new rifle called M762 that can be found in all maps of the game. There is also a new Hadcore Mode that can be found in the Arcade Mode of the game. The new season is a part of PUBG’s 0.9.5 update and is available for both Android and iOS.
Oppo unveiled its A7 smartphone in India
Oppo A7 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ touchscreen display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with an Octa-core CPU. The smartphone houses a 4,230 mAh battery and sports 13MP and 2MP dual rear cameras and a 16MP selfie camera. As of now, it is expected to be priced at Rs 16,999 in India.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro got launched in India
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The smartphone comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and has 64GB of onboard storage. For imaging duties, the smartphone houses 12MP+5MP dual rear cameras and 20MP+2MP dual selfie cameras. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. The starting price of Xiaomi’s new device is Rs 13,999.
Nokia users in India can now get insurance for their smartphones
HMD Global has partnered with Servify to offer insurance for its range of Nokia smartphones in India. The company says that it will be offering ‘affordable and comprehensive insurance plans’ starting Rs 399. Customers would be able to choose from three types of insurance plans when they buy a Nokia mobile phone. So besides Nokia’s standard warranty, the smartphones will come with a 12-month plan from Servify. Nokia customers can choose from an insurance plan with accident and liquid damage protection, a screen protection plan and a plan that extends the warranty on their smartphone.
