Oppo’s VP Shen Yiren took to Twitter to showcase the first promo poster of Oppo Smart wearable. While sharing the image of the Oppo Watch the company’s VP tweet reads, Here’s another look at the forthcoming OPPO Watch. The curved screen and 3D glass will be a game-changer.” However, he did not share any further information related to the wearable but the device will arrive in markets in Q1 2020. Later last month he also shared an image of the forthcoming device via its Weibo account. While sharing the image he did not reveal much about the product but he said that the Oppo Watch would come with a flexible screen and a curved screen design that might be the smartest watch of the year. While looking at the image the Oppo smartwatch has adopted the Apple Watch watch design that would come with a two physical button on its sides. It would sport metal edges in gold and silver colours along with a silicone strap. In the earlier image which was shared Weibo, it showed the device having a cream silicon strap and the watch face has a flower design and the time is displayed in the centre. It expected to offer more watch faces along with more colour options at the time of the official launch. Last month at its “Inno Day 2019” conference in Shenzhen Oppo announced some of its plans related to some of its upcoming products namely smartwatches, Headphones as well as 5G customer-provided equipment (CPE). These products will arrive in the first quarter of this year. At the conference, the company revealed that its upcoming smart wearable would feature ECG support that we have already seen on Apple’s Watch Series 4, Watch Series 5, Amazefit Verge 2 as well as on Samsung Galaxy Active 2. The company is likely to launch its first generation of Oppo Watch alongside it new smartphone Find X2. It was planned to be unveiled at this year’s MWC but could not make because of the cancellation of the trade show.
