Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain shared the news about the launch of the handsets on his official Twitter account last week. Now, Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 smartphone has been listed on e-commerce website Flipkart ahead of launch. The listing reinforces the fact that the smartphone will be launched in India on July 17. A dedicated page for the handset on Flipkart shows all the new features of the Redmi K20. The smartphone will come with AI-backed triple camera setup and will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. Redmi K20 will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the company’s official website Mi.com.
As mentioned earlier, Xiaomi has unveiled smartphones in China last month. It also launched the rebranded version of the smartphone – Mi 9T – in Spain as well. In India, the device is expected to be launched along with its older sibling Redmi K20 Pro. Here’s a look at their expected price in the country: Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro price in India (expected) The Redmi K20 Pro was launched in China in four variants. In Xiaomi’s home country, the device can be purchased for CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 24,900) for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant, whereas its 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant bears a price tag of CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 25,900). Coming to the higher-end models of the device, the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 27,900) and the variant with 8GB RAM/256GB storage can be purchased for CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 29,900). On the other hand, the Redmi K20 was launched in the Chinese market in three variants price. While the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant of the Redmi K20 is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 19,900), the 6GB RAM/128GB storage option bears a price tag of CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs. 20,900). The variant of the smartphone that has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage can be purchased at and CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 25,900). The company is yet to announce the price of the smartphone in India.
