As we already know that Redmi’s new device will be succeeding Redmi 7 that was launched by the company few months ago with a starting price of Rs 7,999. So we can also expect the upcoming device to carry the same tradition and is expected to debut with the same price point as of its predecessor. Redmi 8 expected specifications As we already mentioned that Redmi 8 was spotted on Google Play console few weeks ago that revealed its specifications. As per the listing, the device is expected to run on Android 9 skinned MIUI 10.0.1.3 on top. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. The rumours suggest that the phone is expected to feature a 6.21-inch HD+ (720×1,520 pixels) TFT display along with 19:9 aspect ratio. The rumours and leaks also suggest that Redmi 8 will be featuring a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is speculated to arrive with a 5,000mAh battery. As per TENAA’s listing the smartphone will be launched in three variants 2GB with 16GB of RAM, 3GB with 32GB RAM and 4GB with 64GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 512GB.
