OnePlus recently confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will officially launch in India on February 17. The device is a sequel to the existing OnePlus Nord CE 5G introduced last year. Just ahead of the launch the company has now revealed the design and key details of its most inexpensive mid-range smartphone. According to the business, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The news supports prior rumours that the smartphone would be launched with the same SoC. Interestingly, prior to the smartphone’s release, tipster Ishan Agarwal published a supposed photograph of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G on Twitter. The smartphone was discovered on the company’s website. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is said to be available in Bahamas Blue and Grey Mirror colour variants. In addition to this, the tipster has also shared an image in a tweet. Previous rumours stated that the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G will have a 6.59-inch full-HD Fluid display. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The upcoming OnePlus smartphone is also likely to include 128GB or 256GB of storage. The OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is believed to include a triple back camera system for pictures and videos, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel secondary sensors. It is said to include a 16-megapixel main sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. The smartphone, according to rumours, will include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W quick charging capacity. Other sources say that the gadget will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, as well as 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. According to rumours, the gadget will have a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass will cover the display as well as the rear panel, with a selfie punch hole carved out. The side frames will be made of plastic.
