OxygenOS 9.0.6 has also launched Quick Pairing support for Bullets Wireless 2 as a part of its new update. This will make pairing the Bullets Wireless 2 with OnePlus 5 and 5T devices quicker than what it was earlier. The company has come up with various regular bug fixes and improvements. It has also included the feedback tool in the stable version of OxygenOS. Through OnePlus Community App the users can report any bug, give suggestions or request for features. The company has rolled out the OxygenOS 9.0.6 in an incremental manner. The update will reach a small percentage of users in the beginning, and if the update does not have any bugs, then a broader rollout will begin.
To recall, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones were launched in 2017. OnePlus 5 comes sports 20MP+16MP dual cameras, 16MP front-facing camera, features a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen FHD display with 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution and pack up to 6GB RAM. It runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and houses a 3300mAH Lithium Polymer battery. OnePlus 5T has similar features but it comes with a bigger 6.01-inch display and packs a bigger 8GB RAM. The company has also started rolling out the new OxygenOS 9.5.7 update to the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone in a phased manner. The OxygenOS 9.5.7 has fixed the problem of colour saturation and the HDR noise issues in the camera. An improved white balance has also been added to all the three cameras present on the OnePlus 7 Pro. Earlier, the users complained about poor camera performance of the OnePlus pro. The new software also optimises the accuracy and stability of the autofocusing of the device. Furthermore, the OxygenOS also fixes the issues of double tap to wake function along with improved audio quality for voice calls from third-party apps. The company has also made improvements to the touch sensitivity. Apart from this, the users reported about the Phantom Touch or the Ghost touch which has also been fixed in the new version.
