Expanding its smart wearables portfolio the company unveiled Huawei Watch GT 2e. The device comes with a 455mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 14 days when used regularly. The Huawei smartwatch features a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED touch colour display. The company claims that the watch is designed to inspire an active lifestyle offering 100 workout modes including traditional sports.
The Huawei Watch GT 2e comes with health as well as fitness-related features such as blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring, 15 professional workout modes that include eight outdoor activities such as running, walking, mountain climbing, hiking, trail running, cycling, open water swimming, triathlon. It also includes seven indoor activities like walking, running, cycling, pool swimming, free training, elliptical machine, rower. The professional model on the Watch GT 2e offers comprehensive monitoring that is capable of tracking 190 types of data and can automatically detect 6 professional workout modes that are helpful to the user during their workout sessions. The device comes with 4GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.1, and the Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132 processor. The smartwatch will be available with a price tag of Euro 199 from next month via Vmall and Huawei Authorised Retailers. The company will be offering the watch in four distinct colour options Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green and Icy White.
Besides this Huawei also forayed into the world of wireless speakers with the launch of its first Sound X wireless speaker. The company has worked together with a french audio company Devialet to bring the Sound X to the market. The speaker features Devialet’s own Speaker Active Matching (SAM) signal-processing and Push-Push speaker design to depress the speaker’s physical vibrations. The Sound X wireless speaker exhibits 360-degree Hi-Res audio and also features Huawei Share built-in for wireless music streaming compatible with any Huawei smartphone with EMUI 10.1. The device can also be connected to any device with the help of Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth. But for best sound experience the company recommends Huawei Share to hook up.
