According to a report by XDA Developers, a new strings in Google App beta version 11.3.7.29 revealed that users can download language packs which enables the translation of text even when they are in offline mode. However, we haven’t yet received any insight regarding what all languages will be supported under the Offline Translation in Google Lens app. It is likely that this feature may support the pre-existing languages on Google Translate app. Besides this, the report also showed a brief testing of Google Lens’ Education mode. We could then see a pop-up question by Google where it asked the users to “point at homework question to get help.” Only time will reveal what all question this new feature of Google Lens will be able to answer. Till now, Google Lens app enables its users to translate words they see, save a business card to their contacts, add events to their calendar via a poster, and copy and paste complicated codes or long paragraphs into their phone to save time. Besides this, one could also find out details of the plant kept in their friend’s apartment or what’s the breed of their pet dog using Google Lens app. Moreover, Google Lens app helps you explore places around you by providing ratings, hours of operation, historical facts etc. The app also allows you to find out the dress of furniture you would have seen while on the go. It also provides details of popular dishes on a restaurant menu based on reviews from Google Maps. What’s more interesting is that Google Lens quickly scan QR codes and barcodes. Meanwhile Google is empowering remote workers to stay connected. As more and more businesses rely on connecting an at-home workforce to maintain productivity, Google Meet’s day-over-day growth surpassed 60% over the last few weeks.
